Who can submit?
Anyone can submit. We hold preference for QTPOC submissions.

How do I submit?
Follow the instructions on our website’s submissions tab. Send your submission(s) to echozmagazine@gmail.com

What can I submit?
We accept art in all forms. Specifically, we are looking for words, pretty pictures, mixed-media art, sounds, etc. that fit the theme of our upcoming issue. We encourage any and all submissions! You make the art, we’ll sort out the rest.

When are submissions open?
Submissions are open year-round and accepted on a rolling basis! You are welcome to submit according to the theme of our upcoming issue or, you can submit work that is unrelated to a specific theme at any time throughout the year.
Artwork that is submitted outside of the upcoming issue’s submission window enters our “submission archive.” These submissions will be considered for future issues and will be selected based on cohesion with the theme. 
In order to meet our production cycle deadline, please adhere to submission window deadlines. Works submitted soon after the deadline closes (1-3 days) MAY be considered for the upcoming theme but it is not guaranteed. 
Please indicate in the subject line of your email which category your submission is to be considered under i.e. the upcoming theme or rolling submission. In both cases, we will reach out to you if your submission is accepted!

How else can I get involved? 
If you’d like to be a part of the Echoz team or assist with a one-off project, you may apply by reaching out to us on instagram (@echozmag) or by email (echozmagazine@gmail.com). Send us a message with your information and the skills you'd be willing to contribute to our team.
 We are currently looking for design-focused team members but anyone interested is welcome to apply!

Can I get a subscription?
Hey! Who told you about that?! Yes! :) We will be starting a subscription service in 2026.
